Simple Truths, Personal Light/Growth

Hey Everybody!

This week has been another kind of rough one, lots of finding, lessons falling through and just hitting the grindstone, but it's been ok.  You learn the most about yourself and make the most personal growth during these times, and they always make you more tender and able to cherish the good afterwards. It's during these times as well when you come to realize certain things with more clarity.  Like the simple truths of the gospel.  There is a God, and He is our Heavenly Father.  His son, Jesus Christ, is the Savior and Redeemer of the World.  Through His atonement and grace we can better ourselves, return to God's presence, and live with our families again for eternity.  It has also become so clear to me that God wants to communicate with us, help us along the way.  We can feel and see His influence if we are willing to believe in Him, look to Him, and desire the same enough and have the faith enough to obey Him and seek His guidance and light.

Question of the Week:  Does Almere have any products they are know for, such as klompen, cheese, beer, chocolate, etc?  Do they have markets or bazaars in the town square?

Answer:  I'm not really sure if Almere is known for any product in particular.  Something cool though that we found this week that is kind of funny is that what they don't have here, they fake/make.  They don't have very much history, being only 30-40 years old.  But they are making a castle, with a moat and other fun things around it.  Haha, just funny stuff.  They also have plenty of man made little forested areas and lakes and stuff.

The Market square that is right outside our apartment definitely gets used often enough.  Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays and any holidays, which seems to be about every other day recently.  (They'll make anything into a holiday I swear).  Plus there is almost always some sort of event going on down there.
